528 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

general charge, supervision and direction over all the game
wardens appointed as deputy game wardens for Baltimore
County as provided for in this Act. to prosecute all persons or
bodies corporate violating any of the game or fish laws of this
State in force in Baltimore County, and to obtain information
as to all violations of said game and fish laws. And it shall be
the duty of the said chief game warden for Baltimore County
to receive and safely keep all moneys paid over to him by the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Baltimore County, or by or from
any other person or source, by virtue of and through his said
office of chief game warden for Baltimore County.

And said chief game warden shall within 30 days after the
appointment and qualification of his successor turn over to
such successor all moneys in his possession, together with an
account of receipts and disbursements made by him while in
office. And he shall file a bond in the office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore County in the penalty of four
thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of
his duties as chief game warden for Baltimore County, which
bond shall be approved by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Baltimore County.

SEC. 17-B. And be it further enacted, That the chief game
warden of Baltimore County shall after the recording of the oath
or affirmation to be by him so taken in said Baltimore County be
a conservator of the peace, and shall also have and exercise all
the power and authority had, given to and exercised by the dep-
uty game warden to be appointed as approved for in this Act.

SEC. 17-C. And be it further enacted, That any person violat-
ing any of the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less
than ten dollars nor more than fifty dollars, unless such convic-
tion and fine be otherwise provided for in this Act.

SEC. 17-D. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and
parts of Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland inconsistent
herewith, Sections or parts of Articles or parts of Articles of the
Code of Public Local or Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 17-E. And be it further enacted, That whenever the
chief game warden of Baltimore County appointed as aforesaid
shall consider that it is necessary that he should have deputy
game wardens appointed to assist him in more effectively enforc-
