TITLES OF THE LAWS.

1. An act to authorize the Commissioners of Montgomery
county to raise money for the purpose of building a jail.

2. An act authorizing the Court of Appeals to hear and
determine, at the present term thereof, the appeal of the State
of Maryland from an order lately passed by the Circuit Court
of Baltimore city, in the cause therein, on the information of
the State of Maryland, against the Northern Central Railway
Company and others.

3. An act to authorise the Governor to issue commissions
to the several persons who shall appear to have been elected
Justices of the Peace and Constables in the several election
districts of Prince George's county, from a copy of the poll
books, duly certified by the Clerk of the said county, under
his seal of office.

4. An act to change the place of holding elections in the
Tenth Election District of Allegany county.

5. An act to authorize the sale or mortgage of certain real
estate devised by the will of Solomon Betts, deceased.

6. An act authorizing the Commissioners of Montgomery
county to remove the prisoners in said county to the Jail of
Frederick county.

7. An act to amend Article fourth of the Code of Public
Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sections, relating
to the confinement of vagrants, and persons committed by
Justices of the Peace in default of security to keep the peace,
in. the Jail of Baltimore city.
