AN ACT to make valid a deed from George Forth-
man and Susannah Forthman. his wife, of Frank-
lin county and State of Pennsylvania, to Fred-
erick Forthman; bearing date upon the twenty-
first day of February, one thousand eight hun-
dred and sixty-three.

valid.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed from George Forth-
man and Susannah Forthman, his wife, of Frank-
lin county and State of Pennsylvania, to Frederick
Forthman, bearing date upon the twenty-first day
of February, one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-three, be and the same is hereby made as
valid and effectual as if the acknowledgment there-
of by George Forthman and Susannah Forthman,
his wife, had been duly made before a Notary
Public, as required by the laws of this State, in-
stead of a Justice of the Peace, and certified to
by a court of record and of law, and had annexed
thereto the proper certificate of the Notary Public
or Clerk of such court, in due form of law.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to make certain improvements in the
vicinity of the "State Live Stock Scales," in
Baltimore county.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John S. Berry, John Stack
and Carey McClelland be and they are hereby ap-
pointed commissioners to superintend the erection
of a suitable bridge over Gwynn's Run, where
Baltimore street, of the city of Baltimore, if ex-
