DR. HARRY P. BROWN

The man who made Provident Hos-
pital what it is today. Medical exam-
iner Monumental Lodge No. 3, Elks;
medical examiner Arch Social; super-
intendent Provident Hospital; gradu-
ate Howard Medical College, '06.

Henry J Thomas, retired Baltimorian,
deacon of Madison St. Church and on
the Board of the Md. Association for
Colored Blind.

Dr. Ernest Lyon is one of the leading
ministers in the city of Baltimore. He
' is pastor of John Wesley, an old His-
toric and influential church. His early
life was spent in New Orleans Univers-
ity. He graduated in 1888, classical
department, New Orleans University;
later A.M. by post-graduate work; to
Theology, special course, Union Theo-
logical Seminary, N.Y.; received the
degree of D.D. from Wiley University,
Texas; L.L. D. from Liberia College,
Morivia, Liberia. Entered the minis-
try of the Methodist Episcopal Church
from the Louisiana Annual Conference.
