Chapter VI.—Public Buildings for Religious Pur-
poses.

Baptist Churches.—1st. Baptist, at the corner of Lombard and
Sharp streets. This building is in a circular form, having a por-
tico, with six Doric columns on the west side The architect was
Mr. Mills. Cost $50,000. Pastor Reverend S. P. Hill; 2d. Bap-
tist, in Fleet street, Fell's Point, pastor, J. Healy, Sd. or Ebe-
nezer Baptist, North Calvert, between Saratoga and Lex-
ington streets. Mount Zion—Corner Exeter and Balt. Total 4.

Bethel, or Seamen's Church,—On Fell's Point, fronting the
harbor. This building, though not very large, is handsome and
convenient.

MARINERS' CHURCH, BALTIMORE.

THE Manners' Church is situated in Philpot Street, Fell's Point, fronting the
harbour. The house is free for ail Seamen.

H is opened for Public Worship on the morning of every Sabbath, at ten o'clock
in summer, and eleven in winter; and in the afternoon, at three o'clock.
