SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the proceeds from the said
bonds, or so much thereof as may be necessary for the purpose
herein mentioned, shall be applied to the construction or recon-
struction of the aforesaid Dover bridge to the extent of the
proportion of said costs to be borne by Talbot County, to wit:
one-fourth, and the balance of the proceeds from the sale of
said bonds, if any, shall be retained by the County Commis-
sioners for Talbot County for the use of the general public road
fund and the payment of expenses incident to this bond issue.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 117.
AN ACT to provide for the building, grading and construction
of certain streets and roads within the limits of the town of
Easton, and to provide for the issuing of coupon bonds to
defray the expenses incident thereto.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Council of Easton be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to build, grade and construct
of materials as shall be decided upon by the Commission here-
inafter named, Washington street from Bay street to Brook-
letts avenue; Dover street from West street to West avenue;
Federal street from West street to Washington street; Golds-
borough street from Washington street to West avenue; and
that said streets shall be built and constructed from curb to
curb, as aforesaid, in accordance with the survey and grade
recently established by ordinances No. 15 and No. 43 of the
Mayor and Council of Easton, unless otherwise directed by the
said Mayor and Council, or shall be ordered by the court; and
any moneys remaining out of the proceeds of the bonds herein
after provided for shall be used to construct a permanent street
or road bed on Aurora street from the southern town limits,
running from thence north as far as said funds will permit;
provided, however, that the section (Dover street from West
street to Washington street) shall be construed to mean both
sides of the Market House Square, and that no paving shall
be done unless all that is contemplated by this bill may be
laid within the sum authorized by this Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of paying
for said street construction the Mayor and Council of Easton
are hereby authorized and directed to borrow, on the faith and
credit of the town of Easton, and not exceeding the sum of
