SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all the other powers
possessed by said corporation under its certificate of incorpora-
tion are hereby ratified and confirmed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act' shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTEE 29.

AN ACT to extend the charter and corporate existence of Co.-
lumbia Lodge, Number Fifty-eight, of Ancient Free and Ac-
cepted Masons of the State of Maryland, as incorporated by
chapter 339 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
at its session of 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the charter and corporate existence of Columbia
Lodge, Number Fifty-eight, of Ancient Free and Accepted Ma-
sons of the State of Maryland, which was incorporated by the
General Assembly of Maryland by chapter 339, passed at its
session in the year 1858, be and the same is hereby extended
from the expiration of said charter and corporate existence as
set forth in said Act of 1858, chapter 339, until the end of the
session of the General Assembly of Maryland, next after the
year nineteen hundred and fifty-eight.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 33.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Young Men's Christian
Association of Frederick, Maryland.

Whereas under the original charter of the Young Men's
Christian Association of Frederick, Maryland, an educational
and benevolent institution duly incorporated under the laws of
the State of Maryland, the number of directors thereof was
limited to twelve; and

Whereas the charter purposes of said corporation are of
such a character as to make it desirable that the number of said
directors should be increased to thirty-six; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the charter of the Young Men's Christian Associa-
