LAWS OF MARYLAND.

the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than
ninety days, in the discretion of the court; one-half of the fine
imposed for a violation of this section to go to the informer,
and the residue to the board of school commissioners of said
county for the benefit of the public schools therein.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.
