Be it resolved, That the Legislature of the State of Mary-
land do endorse the said act known as H. R. Bill No. 1, and
petition our representatives in the United States Senate and
House of Representatives, to vote for and by all just means in
their power, secure the passage of said H. R. Bill No. 1.
