STAFF NOTES

Program 1

Judith W. Eucare resigned as Secretary III as of April 4, 1967.
Shirley S. Duncan was appointed to that position on April 26, 1967.

Program 2

John D. Kilbourne resigned as Archivist IV on November 29,
1966. The position of Archivist III, which the late Guy A. Weatherly
held, was downgraded to Archivist II and Sarah W. Salter was ap-
pointed to this position on January 12, 1966. The position of Archivist
IV was downgraded temporarily to Archivist III and Frank F. White
was promoted to this position on April 5, 1967. Also at this time we
had another position upgraded from Archivist II to Archivist III and
promoted Sarah W. Salter. On June 2, 1967, Sarah W. Salter resigned
and Phebe R. Jacobsen was promoted from Archivist II to Archivist
III on June 14, 1967. Judith L. Lilley resigned as Manuscript Repair
Technician on April 4, 1967 and on April 17, 1967 Darlene D.
Boettcher was appointed to the position of Manuscript Repair Tech-
nician. Susan N. Gump was appointed to Archivist II on February 27,
1967, to replace Frank F. White. Thomas P. Dunbar was appointed
to the position of Photographer I. Margaret P. White retired on
April 28, 1967.

On May 3, 1967, Rose M. DiStefano, Secretary II, was transferred
from the Hall of Records to Principal Account Clerk II for the Board
of Natural Resources. The position of Secretary II was temporarily
downgraded to Secretary I and Barbara S. Lambden was promoted from
Clerk-Typist II to Secretary I on May 17, 1967, also on that date
Patricia A. Miller was appointed Clerk-Typist II.

We were able to hire two young men for the summer to work
in our stack area, they were Luther G. Blackiston, Summer Student
Help I appointed on June 14, 1967 and Joseph E. Lamp, Summer
Student Help I appointed on June 1.5, 1967.

Program 3

Robert H. Shiflet resigned as Clerk III on December 13, 1966 and
Charles W. White was promoted to this position from Clerk I on
December 14, 1966. Grover C. Cassler III was appointed Clerk I on
