4 TWENTIETH ANNUAL REPORT
However convinced your staff members may be that their work is good,
all of us are reassured when this evaluation is confirmed by others. We were,
therefore, gratified to have so many professional visitors who if they did not
always approve, at least thought it worthwhile to come here from every part
of this country, as well as from abroad. We were glad that our books were
well received, that we were asked to instruct others in the administration of
archives and, finally, that our work was given an accolade by the election of
the Archivist to the presidency of The Society of American Archivists.
Respectfully submitted,
MORRIS L. RADOFF
Archivist and Records Administrator
