The Assembly was in Session from 31 October-23 December, 1777. Evans gives 1777 as the date of printing but this is
very improbable since the session did not come to an end until December 23, 1777. However, the date of publication cannot
be definitely stated since the Maryland Gazette, in which the notice of publication would have appeared, was suspended
from December 25, 1777 to April 30, 1779 because of lack of paper.
