It is almost certain that Wharton's letter was printed by Green in 1784 although no copy has been found to prove
definitely the point. Bound in with the John Carter Brown copy of the Letter is a supplement with the heading:—To the ]
Roman Catholics | Of The | State Of Maryland, | Especially those of | Saint Mary's County. The type in which this sup-
plement was set differs from that of the Philadelphia edition and is quite similar to that used by the Green Press. The
Philadelphia edition of the Letter ends with page 40 while the supplement runs from page 51 to 56, proving that it was not
published as a part of the Philadelphia edition.

India Islands, intends exhibiting—on Mr. Philpot's hill—the following equestrian feats: mounts a
single horse in fall speed, fires a pistol, falls backward, with his head on the ground, hanging by his
