SECRET SESSIONS.

WEDNESDAY, May 1st, 1861.

Mr. Yellott, from the special committee, reported

An act to provide for the Safety and Peace of the people of
Maryland.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Kimmel moved to adjourn.

The yeas and nays being demanded, appeared as follows:

The Senate adjourned until to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock,
to meet in Secret Session.
