generation. RESIDED: on the Pocomoke River in
Somerset (later became Worcester) County. FAM-
ILY BACKGROUND. FATHER: Thomas Outten (?-

1726) of Somerset County, son of John Outten
(?-1709) of Somerset County and his wife Mary.
STEPFATHER: William Bishop. MOTHER: Sabro,
probably the daughter of John Jones (?-1719) of
Mattapony, Somerset County and his wife Eliz-
