this time, as near as he can ascertain the
amount of such receipts within said time, and
it shall be the duty of the State Wharfinger
Jiereafter in making his returns to the Comp-
troller of the State of the receipts from the
State wharves in the city of Baltimore, to show
distinctly the net receipts from the several
Tobacco Warehouse wharves, which several
net receipts the Comptroller shall credit to the
said Tobacco Fund account, and shall, in his
annual report, publish a statement showing
the standing of said account with the State.

WHEREAS the heating apparatus of the State
House is now placed in the basement of the
Comptroller's office; and

WHEREAS the same is believed to be amply
sufficient to heat the office in said building
as well as the State House; and

WHEREAS the heating of the said office in that
building now requires the use of eight
stoves, and adds greatly to the expense as
well as danger from fire; therefore,

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Slate
be and he is hereby authorized to have the
necessary adjustments and changes made to
utilize the said apparatus for heating the said
office; provided, however, that the cost of the
same shall not exceed the sum of one thousand
dollars.
