Chapter 354.

 

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and fifty-

 

nine and one-half of the Code of Public Local

 

Laws of the city of Baltimore, title "Costs," as

 

enacted by the act of January session of

 

eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter one

 

hundred and sixty-seven, and to amend and

 

re-enact same.

 

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That section one hundred and fifty-

 

nine and one-half of article four of the Code of

 

Public Local Laws of the city of Baltimore, title

re-enacted.

" Costs," as enacted by an act of January session,

 

eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter one

 

hundred and sixty-seven, be and the same is

 

hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as

 

follows :

 

SECTION 159 1/2. That in all actions at law for

 

wrongs, independent of contracts, in any of the

 

courts of Baltimore city, where the verdict or

 

inquisition of damages after default made shall
