Chapter 221.

AN ACT supplementary to chapter two hundred

and thirty-four of the acts of the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, passed at the January session

of eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled ''An

Act to incorporate the Bachman Valley Railroad

Company," and to authorize said company to ex-

tend its railroad from its present terminus at

Ebbvale, Carroll county, Maryland, to and into

Westminster in said county, and to authorize said

company to condemn crossings over other rail-

roads.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the Bachman Valley Rail-

road Company be and it is hereby authorized to

extend its railroad from Ebbvale, its present terminus

and in the construction, use, operation and enjoy-

ment of said extension of its railroad, said company

shall have all the rights, powers, franchises, privileges

and immunities it has for the construction, use and

said act incorporating said company.

SEC. 2. And he it enacted, That said company is

hereby authorized in constructing said extension of

its railroad to cross any other railroad, cither at grade

or under or above grade as said company may deter-
