The hour of 11 50 having arrived, the Senate again re-
sumed business.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and returned
the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the establishment
of a Zoological collection in the City of Baltimore.

Endorsed. "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 3 of Art. 37, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Evidence," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prescribe the number of names
to be selected and placed in the box from which a panel of
jurors shall be drawn for Garrett county.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to protect the rights of parties
to suits at law upon negotiable instruments, where, from any
cause, the same cannot be produced and surrendered.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays "

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act providing for a State subscrip-
tion to J. Thomas Scharf's History of Maryland.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the
General Assembly to the bequests of Henrietta M. Brnff, late
of Kent county, deceased, to the vestry of St. Paul's Pro-
testant Episcopal Church, Chester Parish, at Chestertown, in
said county.
