Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 3, of chapter
215, of the Acts of 1856, entitled an Act to authorize the
building of a bridge over the River Patapsco, at Ferry Bar,
and to re-enact tl e same with amendments.

Endorsed, "pasted by yeas and nays."

Also, delivered,

House Joint Resolutions in relation to the Centennial,

Which wore read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeated and returned
the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 145, of chap. 483,
of the Acts of 1874, title "Revenue and Taxes," and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Senate bill to repeal an Act to add new Sections to Article
51, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Justices of the
Peace," relating to the liens of executions issued by Justices
of the Peace, and to re-enact the same with amendments

Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the jurisdiction of
Justices of the Prince in and for St. Mary's Baltimore, Gar-
ret, Calvert, Washington, Allegany and Charles counties to
cases of petty larceny.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec 38, of Article 75,
of the Code of Public Geneial Laws, sub title "Practice,"
and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to
Article 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Courts," sub-title "Judgments," to follow Section 19, to
enable judgment creditors to secure liens against real estate
of detendants lying in another county or city.

Severally endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Com-
mittee on Judiciary; and report adopted.

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to create a loan to discharge an
indebtedness of the President and Visitors of the Maryland
Hospital, now secured by mortgage of said hospital and prem-
ises, and to provide furniture tor the same.

Endorsed, "Returned from Senate with message asking
House to recede from its amendment, concurred in, Hmeud-
raent receded from, and bill passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal S'Ction 3, of Article
11, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Attorneys at
