House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of Acts of
1874, chapter 265, entitled an Act to remove all gates from
the Public Roads in Prince George's County, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Wnich was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Suit,
Mudd and Steiner.

House Bill entitled an Act to pay Eli Whitney his claim
against the State.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners, of Prince George's county, to abate the interest
on certain judgments in favor of the County Commissioners,
of Prince George's county, against R. T. Robinson and his
securities.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Suit,
Mudd and Steiner.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 30 and 67, of
Art- 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, so far as the
same relates to Harford county, and to enact the followed in
lieu thereof, to apply to Harford county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs
Walsh, Lee and Knight.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 252, of Art 93, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law,"
sub-title "Orphans' Court," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

Houso bill entitled an Act to refund Taxes paid on Liquor
and Oyster House licenses to citizens of Dorchester and Caro-
line counties, erroneously paid.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act authorizing and directing the
administration of James Stratton, late of Howard county, to

pay over the surplus of the estate of the deceased, to the
oard of County School Commissioners of Howard county,
unless legal representatives shall appear.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs Gor-
man, Stevens and Joyce.
