Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial'
Proceedings.

Mr. Lloyd presented the memorial of 24 citieens of Tal-
bot county, asking the enactment of a. law to have all pro-
perty assessed.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

Mr. G-etty presented the memorial of the County Commis-
sioners and 1,078 voters of Garrett county, praying the repeal
of the Act of 1874, fixing Oakland as the county seat of said
county; and the passage of an Act in lieu thereof, allowing
the voters of said county to locate the county seat by the
majority of voters.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Gorman, Ford and Cooper.

Mr. Stevens presented the memorial of Charles Weber and
others, of Baltimore city, praying the passage of the bill ap-
propriating a sum of money for the purpose of a proper rep-
resentation of Maryland at the Centennial Exposition, at
Philadelphia.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance-
Also, by Mr. Stevens,

The memorial of Wm. H. Bamberger, and fifty others of
Baltimore city, praying the repeal of the Attachment Law
of 1874.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Joyce presented the memorial of Vickery & Carroll,
and others of Baltimore city, in opposition to the Extension
of Camden or Conway Street.

Also,

A similar memorial of W. A. Page, Thos. N. Evans &
Son, and others of said city.

Which were read and referred to the Senators from Balti-
more city.

Mr. Brewer presented the memorial of D. B. Palmer, and
32 others, citizens of Montgomery county, praying the ap-
pointment of a Grain Inspector.

Also,

A similar memorial of Edward Stabler, and 31 others of"
said county.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture,

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to refund Alicia Winder, of Talbot county, taxes
erroneously paid.
