The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavora-
ble report of the Committee on Judicial Proceedings on said
bill,

It was adopted.

House bill entitled au Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 935, Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "City of Baltimore,

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In the first line of the title strike out the words "and re-
enact with amendments."

In the second line of the title, after the word "tive," insert
the words "of Article 4, of the code of "

In the same line, after the word "Baltimore," insert the
words "sub-title Water," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

In Section 1, line 1, after the word "five," insert the words
"of Article 4 "

In Section 1, line 2, after the word "the," insert the words
"Code of."

In Section 1, line 2, after the word "Baltimore," insert
the words "sub-title Water."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time and
passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
