Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to suppress the nui-
sance of travelling vagrants and beggars, commonly called
"Tramps."
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 19, of Art.
61, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Mechanics'
Lien,"
Being upon its third reading,
Mr. Stevens, (by unanimous consent,) submitted the fol-
lowing amendments:
Sec 19, line 5, of the printed bill, after the word "mate-
rials," strike out the word "were," and after the word "fur-
nished" in line 5, of Section 19, insert, "and the time when
the materials were furnished."
Which were adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to add new
Sections to Article 51, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Justices of the Peace," relating to the liens of execu-
tions issued by Justices of the Peace, passed March 30th,
1868, chap. 443, and to re-enact the same with amendments,
