TUESDAY, January 11th, 1876.

The following communications, which had been received
from His Excellency, Governor Groome, by the hands of
Hon. Richard C. Hollyday, Secretary of State, were read:

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland :

I herewith nominate E. F. Megenniss as Inspector of Boil-
ers for 2nd district in Baltimore City, vice John J. McWil-
liams, resigned.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment.

qualify.

May 14, 1874.—Daniel M. McClanahan, Officer of Registra-
tion for 7th district vice A. M. McClana-
