Mr. Hepbron submitted the following:

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Elec-
tions be required to audit the accounts for expenses incurred
by Wilson and Duke, the late sitting Senator and contestant
from Calvert county, and that when the same shall be so au-
dited, that he be required to certify the same to the Comp-
troller of the Treasury, who is hereby ordered to pay the same
to the parties entitled thereto.

Which was read and adopted by yeas and nays as follows:

The Senate went into Executive Session.

The Senate took a recess until 12 o'clock.
At 12 M.,

The Senate resumed business, with the following Senators
present :

Joyce, Knight, Lee, Lawrence, Lloyd, McCulloh, Newcomer,

Hon. R. C. Hollyday, Secretary of State, appeared and de-
livered a communication from the Executive.
At 12.15 P. M.,

On motion by Mr. Knight,
The Senate went into Executive Session.
At 12.25 P. M.,
