rights and interest of the State of Maryland, in and to a be-
quest of two thousand dollars made by the will of said
deceased to his wife, Ann Griffith, who died before her said
husband, without heirs.
On motion of Mr. Dashiell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to empower James H. Elliott to settle his
guardian account with Lillie M. Hughes.
On motion of Mr, Dodson,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester and Talbot delega-
tions to introduce a bill to incorporate the Talbot County
Canal and Navigation Company.
On motion of Mr. Bird,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections to in-
troduce a bill relating to the inspection of tobacco.
On motion of Mr. Whitelock,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegution to
introduce a bill entitled an Act providing for the repeal of
Section seventy-eight to ninety, inclusive, of the "Public Lo-
cal Laws" of Baltimore county, entitled "Treasurer," and
to enact other provisions in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Boyer,
Leave was granted to the Kent delegation and Mr. Sprigg
to introduce a bill to repeal chapter 169 of the Act of 1874,
relating to game in Kent county, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Atkinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 45, Acts of 1874,
entitled an Act to repeal Section 36 of Article 10 of the Pub-
lic General Laws of this State, entitled "Attachments," and
re-enact the same with an amendment increasing the amount
of the exemption in said section mentioned, and to re-enact
said Section 36 of Article 10 of the Public General Lawa of
this State.
