CHAPTER 118.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 1 of
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Annapolis", providing for the redefinition of the boundaries
of the City of Annapolis and increasing the term of office of
the Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Annapolis", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
1. The boundaries of the City of Annapolis shall be as fol-
lows: Beginning for the same at the corner formed by the
intersection of the southwest face of the wall of the United
States Naval Academy with the southeast face of the bulkhead
at the eastern terminus of King George Street, the coordinates
of said point of beginning being North 22261. 57 feet East
28494. 74 feet and running from thence northwesterly along the
southwest face of said wall and the northeast side of King
George Street approximately 1580 feet, thence leaving King
George Street and running with the northwest face of said
wall northeasterly approximately 350 feet, thence with the
southwest face of said wall and the northeast side of Hanover
Street northwesterly approximately 1150 feet, thence with the
southeast face of said wall and the northwest side of Wagner
Street southwesterly approximately 350 feet, thence with the
southwest face of said wall and the northeast side of King
George Street northwesterly approximately 1300 feet to Col-
lege Creek (formerly known as Dorsey's Creek), thence with
the line of the southwest face of the United States Naval
Academy wall produced, northwesterly approximately 500 feet
to the mean high water line of the west shore of College Creek,
thence with the meanderings of the mean high water line of
the said Creek in a general southwesterly direction to a road
known as Ridge Avenue, thence with the northwest edge of a
marsh southwesterly approximately 480 feet to a concrete
monument, the coordinates of said monument, being North
23006. 25 feet East 22739. 45 feet, thence South 38 degrees 40
minutes West 729. 5 feet to the northeast corner of the stone
wall enclosing the National Cemetery, the coordinates of said
corner being North 22436. 64 feet East 22283. 71 feet, thence
with the east face of said wall southerly approximately 690 feet
to the southeast corner of said wall, thence South 5 degrees
00 minutes West 20 feet to a point in the center of West Street
