The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

Senate bill to authorize the Commissioners of Kent County
to alter or widen private roads.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 439, of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1874, entitled an Act to
regulate the issuing of licenses for the sale of spirituous and

fermented liquors in this State, and to re-enact the same
with amendments so as to exempt Montgomery County from
the provisions of said Act.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor, Coun-
sellor and Alderman of the City of Annapolis, to issue bonds

on the credit of the city to pay its debts.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Senate bill to authorize the Comptroller in settling amounts

due the State by the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad
Company, for the State tax upon its receipts, to deduct there-
from the amount of taxes erroneously paid the State by the
Consolidation Coal Company, &c., &c.
