mittee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit sale of liquor near
Berkleysville, in Baltimore County.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
Garrett County to determine by ballot whether spirituous or
fermented liquors shall be sold in said county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners
of Montgomery County to raise a bridge over Sligo Creek.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Peter, Gorman and Hill.

House bill entitled an Act to refund to Joshua Jones, of
St. Mary's County, a sum of money.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

On motion by Mr, Gorman,

The Senate at 3,15 P. M., took a recess until 8 P. M.
