Obtained leave to introduce a bill to authorize the Wash-
ington City and Point Lookout Railroad Company to pur-
chase the rights and property, real and personal, of the
Southern Maryland Railroad Company,

Said bill was then read the first time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 46, of Article
29, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Courts,"

sub-title "Sheriff's and Collectors," and to re-enact the same
so as to read as follows,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Lona-
coning, in Allegany County,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill to amend Section 58, of Article 16, of the Code

of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-title "Juris-
diction,"

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
