the said Maryland Penitentiary, and the warden thereof,
shall not receive into said penitentiary any person sentenced
to imprisonment by any court of any other State, or by any
court of the United States, other than the courts of the Uni-
ted States for the District of Maryland."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add to the previous amendment: "And shall, in all con-
tracts to be made hereafter for the employment of the con-
victs in said penitentiary, and in the sale of the manufactures
of the said institution, provided that the goods so manufac-
tured, whether under said contracts, or for sale, shall be sold
beyond the limits of this State."
