earnestly solicit your support in the election on November 3rd, not only for my-
self, but for my running mates, Comptroller Tawes and Attorney General
Walsh; for our Democratic Congressional candidates who are pledged to support
the war effort in Washington, and for all the local candidates.

The issue is: Who can best serve the State of Maryland during these four
years? On the record I maintain that the Democratic Party can best serve
your interests and, therefore, deserves your support!
