missioners of Anne Arundel county, and to add an
additional section to Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'Anne Arundel County,' sub-title
'County Commissioners,' to be designated 'Section 124
A,' authorizing the issue by the County Commission-
ers of Anne Arundel county of interest-bearing certifi-
cates."

Which read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Walls, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,

House bill, File No. 257, entitled "An Act to add
three new sections to Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'Queen Anne's County,' sub-title
'Roads,' to follow section 230, to be designated as
'Sections 230 A, 280 B and 230 C.' "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 230 B, line 33, after the word "required,"
insert "and he shall give bond in the sum of one
thousand dollars for the faithful performance of his
duties, said bond to be approved by the County Com-
missioners."

Section 230 A, line 21, after the words "shall be,"
strike out "twelve hundred," and insert in lieu thereof
"one thousand."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Harvey, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 250, entitled "An Act to pro-
hibit all persons under fifteen years of age, from carry-
ing or having in their possession, fire arms of any
description within the limits of Garrett county."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Linthicum, from Baltimore city delegation, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 35, entitled "An Act to enable
The Harriet Lane Home for Invalid Children of Balti-
more city, to increase the number of its managers."
