Whereupon,

Mr. Hill submitted the following message to the
Senate:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

April 4th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message asking for the ap-
pointment of a joint committee to wait upon the
Governor to apprise him of the fact that this Assembly
is about to adjourn and to ascertain whether he has any
further communication to make to our bodies.

We have named on the part of the House, Messrs.
Hill, Kirbin and Stump.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

April 4, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We propose with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body that both Houses of the General Assembly ad-
journ sine die to-night at 12 o'clock, midnight.
