vide for the issue of one million six hundred and
twenty-five thousand dollars Maryland State bonds
for the purpose of completing the addition to the State
House in the city of Annapolis, and for the purpose of
completing the construction of an annex to the Mary-
land House of Correction; the State bonds to bear a
rate of interest not higher than 3i percent, per annum
and to provide for a sinking fund for the payment of
the State bonds."
Which was read the second time.
Also with recommendation that it be referred to the
Committee on Elections.
Ordered, That Benson B. D. Bond and Oliver D.
Simmons be paid the sum of nine hundred and eighty-
nine dollars for expenses incurred in contested elec-
tion case, attorney fees, included as well as all other
incidentals, as per vouchers filed.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Elections.
Also, with recommendation that it be referred to
the Committee on Elections,
Ordered by the House of Delegates, that Mr. Wm.
T. Wilkinson be paid the sum of $400, to defray
counsel fees and incidental expenses in contested
election case of Geo. R. Garner, vs. Wm. T. Wilkin-
son, as shown by bill hereto attached.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Elections.

Senate bill, File No. 360, entitled "An Act to refund
to Joseph G. Harrison, George A. Harrison and Ji
Samuel Price, collector of State taxes, for Worcester
county, money erroneously paid by them into the
State Treasury."

Senate bill, File No. 328, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and empower the Mayor, Counsellor and Alder-
men o! the city of Annapolis, to purchase stock of the
Annapolis Water Company."
