The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
March 30th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
The Senate respectfully requests the return by the
House of the printed bill No. 37, entitled 'An Act to
repeal and re-enact with amendments, chapter 515 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January session of 1898, and introduced in the
Senate by Mr. Roe, (by request), under the title,
'Education,' and being entitled 'An Act to create and
sustain by taxation public libraries and reading
rooms.' "
The Senate desires the return of this bill for the
purpose of reconsidering the same.

of Courts of Equity to authorize the mortgaging of
