JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

Resolved, that the Committee on the State House and
Legislative Office Space be and it hereby is directed to report
to the Board of Public Works on or before July 1, 1948 a
detailed plan and program for providing the Legislature
with suitable space for offices and committee rooms either
by improvements to and modernization of the State House,
and/or by utilization of space in the Court of Appeals
Building and the State Office Building, including the neces-
sary additions, improvements and modernization required
to make space in these buildings available for use by the
Legislature, and/or the construction of a legislative build-
ing in the vicinity of the State House, including the design
and plans for such a building.
