Mr. Robinson, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to exempt from taxation
certain property of the Bel Air Water and Light
Company, of Harford county, with the following pro-
posed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSER.

Strike out the word "State, " in the fifth line of
section 1 of the bill.

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Newman, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 157,
160, 163, 164, 166 and 174, of Article 11, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Frederick, " relating to the Mayor
and Aldermen of Frederick, and to re-enact said sec-
tions with amendments.
Which was read the second time, and

On motion by Mr. Newman,

The rules were suspended so as to give a third read-
ing this day to said bill, by yeas and nays, as follows:
