Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 227, Article 93, Code of
Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law," sub-
title "Orphans' Court."

Senate bill entitled an Act requiring the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's county to erect a
High School building.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 27,
Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments," sub-title "Counterfeiting and Forgery."

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 81,
Code of Public General Laws, title "Revenue and
Taxes," sub-title "Sales by Collectors."

Sen-ate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more the assessments for benefits assessed against the
State of Maryland for the opening of Pulaski street.

Severally endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also, returned,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Valuation and Assessment," and to re-enact the saDie
with amendments, and to repeal all Acts and parts of
Acts inconsistent therewith.

Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays with pro-
posed amendments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend by striking out the word "par," in line 16
of section 3, and insert in lieu thereof the words,
"sixty per centum of their face value."

And in line 17, strike out the words "eighty-five,"
and insert in lieu thereof the word "fifty."

And in line 18, strike out the word "eighty," and
insert in lieu thereof the words "forty-five."

Insert in line 18, after the word "dollar," the words,
"such as bear ah interest of four per centum, at forty
dollars on the hundred dollars, and such as bear aa
interest of three and one-half per centum, at thirty-
five dollars on the hundred dollars."

Strike out the words "sixty-four," in line 19, and
insert in lieu thereof the word "thirty."
