Also favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sub-section,
class 1, of section 14, of Article 32, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Corporations" also
sub-section 3, of section 42, of the same Article, also
section 47 of the same Article, and to re-enact the
same with amendments, with the following proposed
amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 3, strike out all after the word "Exist-
ence, " in line 11, page 3, in said section.

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second
time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Talbott, from the Committee on Federal Re-
lations, reported favorably the following Senate Joint
Resolution:

Senate Joint Resolution instructing the Senators,
and requesting the Representatives in Congress from
Maryland, to take action with a view to securing and
preserving Temple Farm and the Moore House at
Yorktown, Virginia, by the United States.

Which was considered.

Mr. Hayes submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In Section 1. Strike out the words "be and they
are hereby instructed, " after the word "Maryland. "

In Section 1. Insert after the word "Congress, "
"be and they are hereby. "

Which was adopted.

Said Resolutions, as amended, were then read the
second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third
reading.

tions, to whom had been referred the following mes-
sage from the House of Delegates:
