On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Annapolis, Eastport and Bay Ridge Elec-
tric Railway and Power Company of Anne Arundel
county.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Berret, from the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to provide for the indexing of certain volumes,
of the proceedings of the Prerogative Court of Mary-
land and administration accounts, inventories and
balance books, and for the re-arranging of original
wills of early settlers of Maryland.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 97, 98,
99, 100 and 101, of Article 81, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Revenue and Taxes." sub-title
"Tax on Commissions of Executors and Administra-
tors," so as to abolish the tax upon commissions of
executors and administrators.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate annually
a sum of money for the support of Marion Academy,
in Somerset county.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Treas-
urer of the State of Maryland to pay to Peter Lehler
a certain sum of money paid by him to the Clerk of
the Criminal Court of Baltimore city.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to secure the benefits of
medical treatment and instruction to deserving per-
sons of this State.
Which was adopted.
