STATE OF MARYLAND, TO WIT :
This being the day prescribed by Section, 14, Arti-
cle 3, of the Constitution, for the meeting of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, at 12 o'clock, noon.
Carlton Shafer, Chief Clerk of the House of Dele-
gates for January Session, of 1890, called the House
to order.
Prayer was offered by Rev. Mr. Maloy.
Upon the call of the roll by Carlton Shafer, Chief
Clerk of the House of Delegates for January Session,
