INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Hutchins introduced House bill entitled an Act
to authorize the State Live Stock Sanitary Board to
pay Richard E. Gott a sum of money for a horse killed
infected with glanders.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Maddox introduced House bill entitled an Act
to sanction the devise by Sarah Ann Taylor, late of
Charles county, to the Vestry of Durham Parish of
the Protestant Episcopal Church of said county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judiciary,
Mr. Carr introduced House bill entitled an Act to
appropriate a sum of money to aid the Baltimore Col-
lege of Dental Surgery in erecting a building in the
city of Baltimore for the purpose of lecture rooms and
infirmary.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also, House bill entitled an Act to provide for the
improvement of the State House grounds
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Brashears introduced House bill entitled an Act
to appropriate a sum of money to pay Wm. H. Tay-
lor for services rendered the House of Delegates as
Flag-Hoister, Robert Bellis, as Assistant Postmaster,
and Benjamin Sevier, as Keeper of Cloak Room.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Claims.
Mr. Field introduced House bill entitled an Act to
appropriate a sum of money for the support of the Co-
operative Workers of Baltimore city.
Which was read a first time, and referred to
Committee on Ways and Means.
