THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
Reported that the committee had had under con-
sideration
House biil entitled an Act to provide for the de-
struction of fruit trees in the State of Maryland in-
fected with the "Yellows," and that an amendment
had been proposed to said bill exempting Howard,
Frederick and Carroll counties from the provisions of
said bill, and that the committee had rejected said
proposed amendment, and that the committee recom-
mend the adoption of the report of the committee by
the House.
The report of the Committee of the Whole was
then adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of
Public Local Laws, Article 3, title "Baltimore
County," adding thereto the following sections under
title "Primary Elections."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Baltimore County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the procedure
in prosecutions for cruelty to animals.
