a body corporate, originally incorporated by the act of the

General Assembly of Maryland of eighteen hundred and

twenty-five, chapter fifty -five, entitled "An act to incor-

porate the president and directors of ' The Firemen's Insur-

ance Company of Baltimore,' " by changing the name of the

said corporation, to "The Firemen's Insurance Company

of Baltimore," and by repealing section twelve of the said

act of eighteen hundred and twenty -five, chapter fifty -five,

and also, by repealing the acts of eighteen hundred and

twenty-six, chapter one hundred and seventy-one, eighteen

hundred and twenty -nine, chapter forty -one, and eighteen

hundred and thirty -four, chapter one hundred and sixty-

eight, and section eleven of said act of eighteen hundred

and twenty-five, chapter fifty-fire, and the re-enactment

thereof by section four of the act of eighteen hundred and

sixty -six, chapter thirty-three, all of which acts are supple-

ments to or amendments of the said act of eighteen hundred

and twenty-five, chapter fifty-five, and by likewise amend-

ing the act of eighteen -hundred and forty-five, chapter

thirty -three, and the act of eighteen hundred aud eighty-

four, chapter two hundred and twenty, both of which acts

are also supplements to or amendments of the said acts of

eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter fifty-five, and by

further adding an additional section to the said act of

eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chapter fifty-five.........
