Ninth. To the acquiring, holding and disposing of a certain


tract of land situated on the southeast side of Bel Air avenue in


Baltimore city, by "The first Universalist church of the city of


Baltimore," afterwards known as the "First Universalist society of

from Robert Purviance, jr., trustee, and others to the said, "The


first Universalist church of the city of Baltimore, dated the


twenty-eighth day of August, in the year one thousand eight hun-


dred and thirty-eight, and of record among the land recoids of


Baltimore county, now city, in liber T. K., number two hundred


and eighty-two, folio sixty-three, &c.; and also in a deed from


Anna Spofford, widow, to the said, "The first Universalist church


of the city of Baltimore," dated the twenty-ninth day of August,


in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight, and re-


corded among said land records in liber T. K., number two hun-


dred and eighty-two, folio sixty-five, &c.


Tenth. To the acquiring, holding and disposing of a certain


tract of land, situate on the southeast side of Bel Air avenue, in


Baltimore city, by the friendship society of Baltimore, a corpo-


ration duly incorporated by an act of the General Assembly of


Maryland, passed at the session thereof in the year one thousand


eight hundred and thirty-eight, chapter one hundred and ninety-


five, and which said land is described in a deed from Richard C.


Mason and others, trustees, to said " The friendship society of

records of Baltimore county, now city, in liber T. K., number two

and others to said " The friendship society of Baltimore," dated


the thirty-first day of October, in the year one thousand eight


hundred and forty-three, recorded among said land records in


liber T. K., number three hundred and thirty-seven, folio one


hundred and twenty-three, &c.


Eleventh. To sanction the residuary bequest in the will of

Bequest.

David Flory, of Washington county, in favor of the Lutheran


board of foreign missions.


Eleventh A. To the conveyance by Upton Brooke to Queen

Convey-
ance.

Anne's parish (protestant episcopal) of Prince George's county, of


a lot of ground comprising eight acres, more or less, whereon the


rectory of Saint Barnaba's church in said parish stands.


Twelfth. To each of the several leases, deeds and conveyances


herein mentioned and specified, of two lots of ground in the city


of Baltimore, situate on the southwest corner of Lafayette avenue
