CHAPTER 707
(House Bill 37)
AN ACT concerning
County Commissioners and Members of County Councils - Election
FOR the purpose of repealing the Constitutional requirement that
county commissioners and members of county councils be
elected on the general ticket of each county;
specifying that the General ^Assembly may provide by law
whether the county commissioners in each county not governed by
Article XI-A shall be elected by the voters of certain
districts in each the county,or by the voters of the entire
county, or by a combination of these methods of election;
