1366 ARTICLE 4.

And WHEREAS, At the time of the execution of said agreement, doubt

was expressed as whether or not the parties thereto had full authority to

enter into the same; and

WHEREAS, It was agreed, as therein set forth, that application should
be made to the General Assembly of Maryland for the passage of an act
ratifying and confirming said agreement. Now, therefore,

Section 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

the foregoing agreement be and the same is hereby fully authorized, legal-
ized and confirmed in every and all respects as fully as though express

authority had been conferred upon the parties thereto by the General
Assembly of Maryland at the time of the execution of the same.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
