PILOTS.
1. Board of examiners a body politic.
2. The board of examiners of Mary-
land pilots, of whom composed.
Pilots to pay said board $1,000 to
defray expenses.
3. Applicant to be a pilot; must pro-
duce a certificate of honesty and
good behavior.
4. Board to examine each applicant;
appointment and license.

1. The board of examiners of pilots is a body politic and corporate,
and may appoint a register who shall enter in a book to be provided
for that purpose all applications to and all other proceedings of the
said board and shall countersign all warrants for pilots granted by the
board.
